This design was created for a customer seeking a better solution for storing their vinyl records. The rectangular portion of the bracket slides over a wooden bar that runs along a desk, where the records are stored. This feature allows for easy adjustment of the bracket’s placement. The large abstract shape functions as a bookend, applying uniform pressure to keep the records safely stored in an upright position.
This design was developed for an Uber driver who needed a better way to securely store their water bottle in their car. The original cupholders were too shallow, holding only a small part of the bottle, which often caused it to fall out and occasionally strike passengers. Because of the varying radius of the cupholder, as shown in the image on the left, existing options on the market didn’t meet the client’s needs. To solve this, I designed a simple insert that press-fits into the cupholder, extending its height to provide secure storage for the water bottle.
This design was created for a music teacher who was tired of manually drawing the lines for sheet music on his whiteboard. I developed a portable solution that can securely hold all five markers needed to draw a musical staff uniformly. As shown in the second image, the design also allows the markers to stand upright when not in use.
